Climate Change is Happening Now- Time to Take Action!

About us

Earth Concern is a people's platform which is not for profit. It aims to mobilize citizens across Asia and around the world to debate, discuss and mobilize themselves to address the causes and consequences of Climate Change in their villages, countries, regions and at the global levels. This platform aims to create creative common space where people can share issues that matters them most both at institutional and individual levels. This space equally promotes people working in organizations, political parties, universities, unions, social movements, and also individuals who are not associated with any institution but want to raise their voice and be part of the change process. We love to simplify climate change conversations to ensure inclusive and meaningful participation of individuals, communities and organizations.

We are evolving as a people's platform to discuss practical issues impacting people's daily lives and livelihoods as well as issues that needs policy level attention. To strengthen our pro-poor policy advocacy initiatives we promote space where both policy and community level voices are reflected. Our efforts are focused to connect threads between grassroots and policy.

We strongly acknowledge the efforts from manystate and non-stateactors. However, there are evidences that oftentimes such good efforts are also limited within the project specific domains and end up with reports within limited circle of intellectuals. Our advocacy efforts are focused to demystify climate conversations and democratize the information and knowledge space. We promote our dialogues around data driven evidence to strengthen the efforts around impact at scale.

Across the world there are local and grassroots levels networks and organizations working on various aspects of climate change. However, many of these efforts are isolated within specific sectors; our efforts are to connect these dots to strengthen solidarity social movement irrespective of the size of the organization, network, groups, collectives or individuals Similarly, we also strongly advocate multi-sectoral approach to climate change initiatives and thus we are connected with community level organizations, trade unions, student unions, universities, migrant's networks, women;s rights movements, governments, aid agencies, private sectors, small holder farmers and many other solidarity platforms and networks across the world.

We are operating with full volunteer spirit and our volunteers are contributing from different parts of the world.
